Common Custom-Apparel Ordering Mistakes (and How to Avoid Them)

Common Custom-Apparel Ordering Mistakes (and How to Avoid Them) — Roxbury Custom Vinyl, Flanders, NJ

Most ordering problems aren't about printing quality — they're about a handful of avoidable mistakes made before production even starts.

Waiting too long to order. Design approval, size collection, and production all take real time — build in a buffer.

Sending a low-resolution file and assuming it'll be fine. If you're not sure your file is print-ready, ask before assuming.

Guessing at quantities instead of collecting real numbers. A quick sign-up sheet saves both leftover inventory and awkward shortages.

Not confirming sizing before ordering, especially for kids.

Not asking questions. This might be the biggest one — asking early is always faster than finding out after the order's already placed.

If you're placing your first order and want a second set of eyes before you submit anything, just ask.
