5 Ways to Make Your Custom Apparel Last Longer

5 Ways to Make Your Custom Apparel Last Longer — Roxbury Custom Vinyl, Ledgewood, NJ

You put real thought into your logo and your order — the least your gear can do is stick around for more than a season. Here's what actually matters.

1. Wash It Inside Out

The single biggest thing you can do. Turning a shirt inside out protects the print from direct friction in the wash.

2. Cold Water, Always

Hot water breaks down the adhesive in any heat-applied print faster than anything else.

3. Skip the Dryer When You Can

Air drying is best. If you need the dryer, use low heat.

4. Don't Iron Directly on the Print

Iron inside out, or place a thin cloth over the print first.

5. Give It 24 Hours Before the First Wash

Fresh prints need time to fully cure and bond to the fabric.

We're happy to include a quick care card with team and bulk orders — just ask.
